Itinerary

6:00 AM – Departure from Phoenix Metro Area

Begin your adventure with a scenic drive through Arizona’s stunning landscapes with a knowledgeable guide.

10:30 AM – Horseshoe Bend

Take a short hike to the famous overlook and marvel at the dramatic meander of the Colorado River. Enjoy ample time for photos and exploration.

12:00 PM – Lunch Break in Page, AZ

Enjoy a meal at a local restaurant (cost not included in tour price). Your guide can recommend excellent dining options.

1:30 PM – Antelope Canyon Guided Tour

Explore the breathtaking slot canyons with a Navajo-guided tour. Capture mesmerizing light beams and stunning rock formations while learning about their cultural significance.

3:30 PM – Lake Powell Scenic Stop

Admire the vast expanse of Lake Powell from a scenic viewpoint. Optional activities include a boat tour or kayaking adventure.

4:30 PM – Return Journey to Phoenix

Relax and take in the desert scenery as we head back.

9:00 PM – Arrival in Phoenix Metro Area

Conclude your day with a drop-off at your original departure location.

Notes for Antelope Canyon Hike:

  • The hike is moderate with uneven sandy terrain and some narrow passageways.
  • Expect to walk approximately 1.5 miles round trip.
  • Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are recommended.
  • Due to local regulations, only guided tours are permitted in the canyon.
  • Be prepared for possible temperature variations inside the canyon, as it can be cooler than the surrounding desert.
  • Lower and Upper Antelope Canyon require children to be 8 years and older but if you really want to go with your kid (ages 1 to 7), please call us and we can schedule a tour with Antelope Canyon X because they do allow young children
  • The hike to Horseshoe Bend from the parking lot is .7 miles one-way and considered moderately difficult. The trail is partially paved.  Please remember you are in a desert environment, where summertime temperatures often exceed 110° (Fahrenheit). The trail to Horseshoe Bend is completely exposed, except for a small shade pavilion. Water, hats, sunscreen, and appropriate walking footwear should be worn.

  • Free Cancellation: Cancellations made 24 hours or more before the tour date will receive a full refund.
  • Late Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the tour date are non-refundable.
  • Rescheduling: We allow one free reschedule if requested at least 24 hours before the tour. Rescheduling within 24 hours may incur a fee.
  • Weather & Unforeseen Circumstances: If the tour is canceled by the operator due to extreme weather, road closures, or other unforeseen events, guests will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.

Yes! This is a fully private tour, meaning only your group and the guide will be on the trip.

Typically, pickup is at 6:30 AM, but this can be adjusted based on your preference.

Is there a lot of driving?

Yes, expect about 8 hours total drive time with scenic stops along the way. Travel times:

  • Phoenix to Sedona: 2 hours
  • Sedona to Grand Canyon: 2.5 hours
  • Grand Canyon to Phoenix: 4 hours

What to Bring & Wear

What should I wear?

Comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes for walking or light hiking. Layered clothing is recommended as temperatures vary.

What should I bring?

Suggested items: Sunscreen, sunglasses, warm clothing as needed, hat, camera/phone, extra snacks, and cash/card for meals or souvenirs.

Is food included?

No, but we will stop for lunch at a restaurant in the Grand Canyon or Sedona. You can also bring your own snacks.
